Designing letters | B

The Designing letters series is an entire alphabet created by artists, graphic designers, illustrators and designers. B is by the lettering designer and calligrapher James Clough.

• Size: 40 x 50 cm
• Printed on high quality Epson Enhanced Matte Paper (192 g/m²) using certified Epson Ultrachrome HDR (High Dynamic Range) pigment inks
• Frame is not included, but 40 x 50 cm is a standard print size, so framing, if desired, shouldn’t be a problem

THE AUTHOR

James Clough is a Londoner and he studied typographic design at the London College of Printing. For the past thirty years he has been based in Italy (Milan) where he works as a lettering designer and calligrapher for Italian and international clients. He has abundant experience with drawing and writing both classical and expressive letterforms. He teaches calligraphy and the history and theory of typography in universities in Italy and Switzerland. He writes on these subjects and the history of the graphic arts for Italian and English publications. He is a devotee of almost anything concerning the alphabet.
