In almost every picture #17
Limited Edition
In almost every picture is a series of books focusing in found amateur photographs with a sequenced narrative.
Carlo and Luciana, the protagonists of In almost every picture #17, are a couple from the small Italian town of Vignola, Modena. The couple made a small handful of trips right after they were married. This is the beginning of their project, black and white images, many shot on the road. Yet it is not until later, past the blank pages symbolic of their working years, that we really get to know how Carlo and Luciana explored the world. Black and white becomes colour, we witness time passing. Together they create a curious contradiction; two halves each with their own different motive, making one whole.
This Limited Edition contains a vinyl postcard of the only image where Carlo and Luciana appear as a couple on one photograph. On the vinyl is an interview with Carlo where he talks about his travels with Luciana. The edition is signed by both authors and numbered in an edition of 100 copies.
