THE AUTHOR
Katrin Stangl was born in 1977 and lives and works in Cologne. She attended the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig and studied popular etching in Brazil. Her books and illustrations have won numerous awards including the “Hans-Meid-Förderpreis für Buchillustration” and bronze medal in the “Schönste Bücher aus aller Welt” (Most beautiful books from all over world) competition.
