Bruno Munari

The prints of Bruno Munari's ABC series are taken from Munari's classic 1960 book: a "simple English lesson" in which the author has fun drawing animals and everyday objects for each letter of the alphabet, creating unexpected combinations that invite us to dream. An entire alphabet in Munari's imaginative and ironic style, to give as a gift or to hang up on the walls in your home: look for your initials, use the letters to make up a word or simply choose the drawings you like best.

Bruno Munari (1907-1998) has been no doubt the most eclectic italian artist-designer. Since his very first experiences in the 30s among the artists of the Second Futurism, he always dedicated his creative activity to every form of “experimentation”, with a particular attention to the world of children and their games and toys. His works in the fields of painting, sculpture, design, photography and didactics cross their languages and poetics following the path of his very personal inventiveness.
